WHAT IS THE BEST ADVICE YOU HAVE EVER RECEIVED AND WHY?
“If you want to be known as a great woman, be an inspiration to a group of women.” I believe my ex-boyfriend shared this advice because he saw my passion and leadership capabilities that could impact the lives of like-minded women.

WHO HAS INSPIRED YOU AND WHY?
My Mother is my greatest inspiration. She is the epitome of a strong and courageous woman who endured rearing 4 kids as a single mother. Several community and fitness leaders inspired me to be the leader that I am today through mentorship and supportive efforts.

WHAT IS THE ONE PIECE OF ADVICE YOU COULD SHARE WITH OUR READERS TO UPLIFT THEM IN LIFE AND CAREER?
Keep all things balanced by including all dimensions of wellness into your life.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE BOOK AND HOW DID IT INSPIRE YOU?
From Atheist to Ambassador, The First Sixty Years by James R. Hall, II. The author shares how his life as a confused diseased young child was transformed to a hopeful and healed young man.

WHAT DO YOU DO TO RELAX?
Oh my, I have several ways. I must say listening to smooth jazz music.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE CHALLENGES YOU OR YOUR INDUSTRY FACES, AND HOW DO YOU OVERCOME THOSE?
The two most challenges I face in the health and fitness industry are helping clients to see health as their biggest investment and staying relevant. Sharing education, motivation, inspiration and encouragement helps to shed light on the importance of health. Modern technology and social media keep me connected with the latest health fitness trends and research…all at the scroll of my fingertips.

WHAT IS ONE TREND IN YOUR INDUSTRY THAT EXCITES YOU?
Beauty as the new fitness. This new trend introduces self and mental awareness as a part of the physical fitness dimension.

WHAT IS THE ONE THING YOU DO EVERY DAY THAT ADDS TO YOUR SUCCESS?
Journaling. Since my college years, I have found journaling to be a great tracking tool to not only jot down memories and self-thoughts, but to also measure life’s goals and success.

WHAT TECHNOLOGY PRODUCT CAN’T YOU LIVE WITHOUT?
Smart TV. I use my smart TV for everything outside of watching TV. I like to watch YouTube exercise and movies. Literally, my living room transforms into my fitness studio or movie theater at the push of a button.

PLEASE, FINISH THIS STATEMENT: LEADERSHIP IS…
empowerment given to its followers by sharing education, motivation, inspiration and encouragement.
